I already had a Polar H10 & wanted to see how accurate my new VivoAct4s was compared to Polar H10, the gold standard. I found VivoAct4s very accurate when the pace becomes stable. Not so much with sprints or strength training. Fortunately I can connect H10 to VivoAct4s via ANT+ or Bluetooth and that way I'll have accurate data on Garmin Connect.
The Garmin Venu 2 and Vivoactive 4 are very similar watches. Both come in two sizes, offer the core Garmin suite of watches and apps, and give you a touchscreen (though only the Venu 2 has an AMOLED).

Hi! My heart rate monitor at the Vivo active 3 music suddenly stops working. It happend twice before, I went to the lab for the first time and they fixed it. When it happens again I exchange the watch. Now it happens for the 3rd time. Not during workout, just suddenly stoped work. I did the reset, still not working.

From past 3 week heart rate sensor green lights not working at all. Tried restarting several times. Tried restore to defaults. Still no green lights.
Always defer to your health care provider for any heart-related issues. Hold . Select > Wrist Heart Rate > Abnormal Heart Rate Alerts. Select High Alert or Low Alert. Select a heart rate threshold value. Select the toggle to turn on the alert. Each time you exceed or drop below the custom value, a message appears and the device vibrates.
Heart rate not working. I received vivactive 4s as a gift from my company..but the heart rate function is not working..it is just grey with dots on my dial. I tried restarting. Hi,underwater heart rate is available in Vivoactive 4, but I cannot ensure you the precission because I have not test it till now, possibly I make it today. I don´t understand why are you saying that Vivoactive doesn´t allow the HRM-Swim, because is Ant+ and can be paired perfectly with VA4.

Found few old posts on this issue, but no viable solution. Just got new Garmin Vivoactive 4. Which in many case, both during activity and not, shows totally wrong heart-rates.
