Hi all can i ask what the gap size is on the Ford Focus RS Mk2 09-on Genuine Bosch Spark Plug, as i've ordered a set off AandKmotorsport and it says the gap is set at 0.7. Is this the right gap size as i'm sure it was smaller for these plugs. Being honest and kind gets you nowhere these days, times
382 posts · Joined 2019. #7 · Mar 20, 2021 (Edited by Moderator) Its worth it atleast in the MK3.5 ST and i really cant see it being any different on the MK4 but i could be wrong. as the manual states in the MK3.5 to only use higher octane fuel. It also reduces the risk of LSPI and way less risk for knock/det.
Suspecting the original stage 1 map might not be suitable as i did not know who put it on or what the map was like, i decided to visit my local tuner today and put a stock base map on the car. This ran much much better with no boost cut but obviously made far less boost (around 0.5-0.6 bar is about right for the standard map on these i believe).
